Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If a particular Service includes additional or app-specific terms, those additional terms also apply. If they conflict with these Terms, the app-specific terms control for that Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement. If you are under the age at which you can legally agree to these Terms in your country, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them on your behalf. You may not use the Services if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

3. License to use the Services

Subject to these Terms, Grice Mobile grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to install and use our applications on devices that you own or control, solely for their intended purpose and in accordance with applicable app-store rules.

The Services are licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all rights not expressly granted to you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Services unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that harms another person;
• copy, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Services except where we expressly permit it;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to derive source code, except to the limited extent such a restriction is prohibited by law;
• bypass security, access controls, usage limits, payment mechanisms, or technical protections;
• introduce malware, interfere with operation, overload infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access to a Service or connected system;
• use automated means to scrape or extract data where we have not expressly allowed it; or
• infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

5. Device permissions and features

Some Services need access to device functions such as the camera, microphone, contacts, notifications, accessibility services, phone features, messages, media, or storage. The relevant app explains why a permission is requested. You can manage many permissions in your device settings, but disabling a required permission may prevent a feature from working.

You are responsible for using device-level features safely and lawfully, including obtaining any consent required before recording, communicating with, or processing information about another person.

6. User content

Some Services may let you create, enter, upload, edit, or share content. You retain ownership of your content. You give us only the rights reasonably necessary to operate, secure, process, and improve the feature you choose to use, as described in the Service and our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights and permissions needed to use it. Do not submit illegal, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or harmful content.

7. Purchases and subscriptions

Some Services may offer paid features, one-time purchases, subscriptions, or free trials. Before purchase, the applicable Service or app store will display the price, billing period, and material conditions.

• Billing: Purchases made through an app store are processed by that store and are also subject to its payment terms.
• Renewal: A subscription may renew automatically for the stated billing period unless you cancel it before renewal through the store or payment account used to purchase it.
• Cancellation: Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless applicable law or the store’s rules provide otherwise.
• Refunds: Refund requests for app-store purchases are handled under the applicable store’s refund policy and mandatory consumer law.
• Price changes: We may change prices prospectively. Where required, advance notice or your consent will be provided.

8. Advertising and third-party services

The Services may display advertising or integrate third-party products such as app stores, analytics, crash reporting, maps, cloud services, artificial intelligence providers, or payment systems. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.

9. Intellectual property

The Services—including their software, design, branding, graphics, text, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Grice Mobile and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. “Grice Mobile,” “GriceMobile,” our logos, and associated product names may not be used without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

10. Updates, changes, and availability

We may provide updates, patches, new features, or changes to a Service. Some updates may be installed automatically through your device or app-store settings. We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of a Service when reasonably necessary, including for security, legal, technical, or business reasons.

We do not guarantee that every Service or feature will always be available, error-free, compatible with every device, or offered in every country or language.

11. Important safety notice

Unless a Service expressly says otherwise, information and outputs are provided for general utility and informational purposes only. They are not professional medical, legal, financial, emergency, or safety advice. Do not use a Service where failure, delay, or inaccurate output could cause death, personal injury, or serious property or environmental damage.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Grice Mobile and its contributors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, business, opportunity, or goodwill, arising from or related to the Services.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total aggregate liability arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Grice Mobile for the affected Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be limited.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using a Service at any time and may uninstall our applications. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk or harm, or where suspension is reasonably required by law, security, or operation of the Services. Where appropriate, we will provide notice.

Upon termination, the license granted under these Terms ends. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute provisions—will survive.

15. App-store terms

If you download an application through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another marketplace, its applicable usage rules and store terms also apply. The marketplace is not responsible for providing our support unless its terms require otherwise. Grice Mobile, not the marketplace, is responsible for the application and for addressing claims relating to it, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

For an Apple-distributed application, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the applicable app-license provisions against you.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with competent jurisdiction in Vietnam will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in another court or requires another governing law.

Before filing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, law, technology, or our business. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practicable or legally required. Your continued use after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.

18. General provisions

If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable app-specific terms are the entire agreement between you and Grice Mobile concerning the Services.
